PUTTY APPLICATION PROCESS
STEP 1
Wall Preparation
Clean the wall using emery paper or putty blade to remove loose particles.
STEP 2
Pre-Wetting
Pre-wetting of the wall is required for proper adhesion of putty over the surface and to
achieve
better quality results
STEP 3
Preparation of Paste
Prepare the paste by adding 35%-40% clean water to Wonder Wall Putty (eg 350-400 ml in 1 kg
pf
putty) and mix it properly with putty mixing machine or mechanical stirrer. Leave it for
5-10
minutes for polymer molecules to get activated. Better molecule activation provides better
results.
STEP 4
First Coat of Wall Putty
Apply the first coat of wall putty with the help of putty blade and let it dry for at least
3-4
hours(Drying time depends on weather and ambient temperature). Second coat should be applied
only after first coat is completely dried. The total thickness of both the coats of wonder
wall
putty should not exceed 1.5mm.
STEP 5
Desired Smooth Wall
Scrub the wall with emery paper of 500+ no. to remove the marks of putty blade(if required).
The desired smooth wall is ready for paint application.
